TimeProofs provides an open, privacy-preserving API that generates verifiable cryptographic timestamps for digital content. The platform is intended for research, documentation, and digital accountability — not as a legal certification service.

3. Liability

• The publisher cannot be held liable for direct or indirect damages from use of the service.
• Users remain solely responsible for the integrity, legality, and originality of the data they hash.
• No guarantees are made regarding uptime, error-free operation, or permanent data retention.

4. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, the design, logo, and written materials are property of TimeProofs.io. Open-source components are subject to their respective licenses (MIT, Apache, etc.).

5. Data & Privacy

No personal data is required or stored. The API processes only SHA-256 hashes — irreversible digital fingerprints — along with minimal technical metadata (timestamp, type, signature). Logs are anonymized and retained only for anti-abuse and reliability monitoring.

7. Modification of Terms
